The smile u evoked
The desolate u embraced
The footsteps of the needy u traced
The hungry u predicted

That isolation u evicted
That hand u extended
That burden u prevented
That widow u comforted

The fatherless u impacted
The weak u strengthened
The little thing u shared
Truly showed u cared
These are the flock u reared
They ‘re the poultry u Fed;
The lives u saved instead.

This festive season brings back to u all u seem to have lost and wasted.
Unequivocally: it’s your chance to do something if u never did anything.

NO MORE DISDAIN

May they all die, If they buy water from Dubai. This is not a curse, But the prayer of a nurse. Oo Ghana!  We all call you mama, But we despise your breast, Forgetting she once quenched our thirst. And now we encroach on the milky way, With strikes and campaigns all day, Thinking the galaxy is ours to slay, Not appreciating the sky where they stay. They've eaten and still ask for  dessert. So we turn our waters into Milo, And our forests into deserts, So they can quench their thirst. Exchanging oil with gold, Is how the stories are told. All lies,  Yes! lies with open eyes. They apply makeup to our faces, With brushes dipped in feces. At the ballot we see them, Yeah with catchy themes, Singing their famous anthem, And we make them our emblem. Should we join the train, Driven by those we kowtow, For half a loaf in our bowl? Are we worthy of disdain? Are we short sighted as they claim? No we won't!  Yes you shouldn't! Let them not take you for a ride, At least for once...

So that each and every year Since I met my dear I never ever regret The babe I did get  Yes we met in jail Where nothing else could prevail It was in cold April Yet, for each other we did travail  Bonded in chains Together in pains But we fought  Just as we're taught To remain always tough Swallowing the bitter pills  And miming the cough  Accompanied by the chills Today we rejoice  In the love we forged In the mindset we thought In the scars we begot  And the patience we bought  So as a day passes by Don't forget to aim high In wet, cold and dry It's possible so do try Break out from Jail Even if it means killing a soldier For many innocent souls Are dead for their lover.
