Did you know YOU are an acronym?A Successful person is not different from YOU

A Successful person is not different from YOU. Did you know YOU are an acronym?
Just Yearn for more, Observe the pattern of success and Understand your purpose in life. After eating the Ant, it is now in you.

The following are ways to keep it alive in you and with it, your success is assured in all your endeavours: Have big thoughts, be disciplined, get a mentor who will influence you, plan willingly and rely on God.

YEARN
To yearn for something is to have a strong desire to have that particular thing sought after. It could be material, intangible or spiritual. However, it is expedient we yearn for what would not destroy us. In this world, people ought to yearn for wealth, academic excellence, and prosperity. But the urge for absolute power and fame tends to paint ambitious people as though they are worldly. It is good to aim high but not forgetting that even as power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely except God is involved. If God does not build the house, builders labour in vain.  The desire to gain must be a good intended desire. This book aims at reiterating the need to yearn for success by doing it right.
“More people are becoming successful at a faster rate than at any other time in history. There have never been more opportunities for you to turn your dreams into reality than there are right now” (Brian Tracy). Brian Tracy is on of America’s leading authorities on the enhancement of personal effectiveness, the development of human potential, and the art of salesmanship. As a dynamic and entertaining speaker, he has motivated and inspired thousands of people towards peak performance and high achievements. His seminars on leadership, goals, motivation, time management, and success psychology draw capacity audiences. As head of two companies, He has consulted with more than 500 co-operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Far East and Europe on marketing creativity, corporate strategy, sales and organisational development. He is the President of the Institute for Executive Development, a human resource company, and was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of a development company with over $265 million in assets and $75 million annual sales.
Brian Tracy was born in Eastern Canada in 1944 and grew up in California. After dropping out of high school, he travelled and worked his way around the world, eventually visiting eighty countries on six continents. His extensive personal studies in business, sales management, marketing, and economics enabled him to become the head of the $265 million company before he turned his attention to consulting, training and personal development. He has been the president of three worldwide operating companies.  This is a man who yearned to make it without thinking of how possible but rather, why impossible. He did personal studies (studying subjects on his own outside class room) in business, sales management, marketing, and economics. His story is to encourage you that you can do all things so long as you desire and will to do it. With the above background you can confidently say that one can excel even without graduating from a university. Sometimes, our certificates only decorate us but our ambitions make us.

OBSERVE
Observation is key in life. Just as this book was written out of an inspiration from an observation of an ant. To observe is to critically and carefully listen or watch something, a person or situation. I attaining the successes we yearn for in life, it is necessary to observe successful people and follow the right steps they took.
Role models have great impact in shaping of lives. Many great men will always make mention of mentors they looked up to. As you admire a person and his/her achievements and qualities, the more you strive either consciously or unconsciously to become like that individual.
Study and emulate the people you most admire in life. Either craftsmen, farmers, teachers, politicians, academicians, business men, lawyers, pastors or even your parents. You learn values quickly when you study them closely. When you continuously read about and observe lives and stories of successful people, how they demonstrate certain characters and heroic traits, those values sink deep into your mind. Once they are imbibed in you, there is the highest propensity that you will use them when time and situations demand them.
As young pastors read about men of God, Soldiers always read stories about courage, obedience, unity and discipline. The more they discuss and ponder, these virtues are learnt unconsciously.

UNDERSTAND

Understanding is defined as the knowledge and ability to judge a particular situation or subject. Willingness to understand is a step ahead into understanding. As you yearn to succeed in all endeavours and observe others’ experiences in shaping your life, you must understand God’s purpose for your life in order not to make the wrong decisions that might destroy you. It is also urgent to understand what it takes to be successful in life. It takes self- discipline and ideal character to succeed in any endeavour. However, developing a character of self-discipline will result in the ideal character you need to succeed in life. Knowing your values help you to understand your purpose in this world. Your strengths direct you to know what you are good at. To understand your purpose in life, you need to know God’s purpose for you first, then develop your ideal character towards that purpose. You have yearned to be like someone. Your wish is to be as or more successful than that man or woman. You have observed their lifestyle and found what you are looking for. You understand sacrifices you must make but now you need to know God’s purpose first.

DREAMSCAPE

An experience of a walking life; Or thoughts of the day in motion at night, Flowing peacefully in spirit like a kite. Awaiting an Estimated Time of Arrival, In your heart’s own built terminal. You woke up from the thunderous snore, Just to realize you were in a slumber. But you vividly remember; The realities you did encounter, And how beautiful it was that you saw. So you shared your story in the morning, While you were still yawning. Yes you shared; With people of like-mindedness. And boom! you are a hit; A one time wander, Now a lifetime wonder, With whom everyone wants to sit, But your dreams, don’t let them plunder. You are now a champion, So go ahead my companion. Go ahead with that plan; Store as many as you can, If it can’t be frozen, just get it canned.

MY FIRST EID al-FITR

Being born in a Medina community,  Gave me the zeal to help humanity, Not for their lack of man's basic need, But for the luck that I now have people to feed. Seldom did I take part in Islamic activities, For the idea of the zongo hostilities. Yet, As long as I grew with their husbands, I realized not all sad news is created by their hands. It's only a notion that each child is assumed to have played in the sands. With my encounter with the second Sheikh of the land, Islam in focus was what thought me the goodness in Islam's demand. The rhetoric is only an iota of truth in each religion, That there is a "Mensah" in each tradition. I played with Abdul after my Sunday school, And ate with Aisha each break at school. Sometimes Sheikh himself took us out to the pool, Don't fight was his only golden rule. Amelia would bring my mum a basket of food, And I cannot forget the symbolic aroma that flies in all their meals. Eve...

The EID of men

I was born in a Madina community,  Where needs were not priority but just wants, Yet those who had to help said they can’t.
